This sesame paste is slightly sweet. If you don't like sweet, you can reduce sugar or not add sugar directly. I use xylitol, which is lower in sweetness and healthier. No xylitol can be replaced by ordinary white granulated sugar, and sea salt can also be replaced by ordinary edible salt.
